I am SO doing this!

You're probably thinking, "What does this have to do with reading?".   Stay with me. I saw this cool photo on Pinterest and went down a rabbit hole to find the original author.  It's from the Simply Rooted Family blog and Renee the owner has provided really great step-by-step directions for making this happen. She even includes ideas for themed or holiday shoots.

I don't mention it often on this site, but I'm still in the classroom. I teach reading to 4th graders. Just reading, all day, and I love it. To start off this school year I'm going to have each student in the grade pose in a box with their favorite book or a book they want to read this year. I'm thinking various reading poses.

If my own kids were still small, this would definitely be a holiday card photo. They could be holding gifts, passing gifts (up, down, and sideways), whispering in Santa's ear/box. Yes, of course Santa would be in one of the boxes!

Please share the results if any of you decide to try this out!
